PARTIAL AND FULL SCHOLARSHIPS

 

Every year YA gives two partial scholarships to students who are in financial need, yet feel ready and passionate to begin their teaching journey.

 

We feel that this is part of our commitment to accessibility - while still maintaining our ability to hold trainings, hire guest instructors, purchase training materials, and secure our spaces for the sessions.

 

In addition, we have payment plans as an option to pay over the course of the session for your training, whether you are paying in-full or have a partial scholarship payment to make.

The decision process is based in part on the confirmed attendance of each session. We must have at least 3 full-paid trainees to support a partial, and at least 5 to support a full scholarship. This is to ensure that we can pay for our space, supplies, guest teachers, etc. for the session.

Scholarships have been granted for winter/spring 2022. Winter 2023 applications are now open, and applications for scholarships will be open until the end of September 2022 - at which time we will be able to match those in need with the spaces we have available.
